Matrix III

Royer Biomedical, Inc.'s patented Matrix III is an inorganic-biopolymer composite. The inorganic components are mixed with an aqueous biopolymer solution containing the medicinal. The resulting slurry solidifies and entraps the medicinal. The nature and proportions of the inorganic components and polymers determine the release profile and the erosion rate. Matrix III Competitive Advantages

Matrix III is unique among the relatively few resorbable dimensionally stable materials on the market. Click Here For More Information

R-Gel

R-Gel is supplied in a two-syringe system. One syringe contains oxidized dextran and the other syringe contains powders of active ingredients, excipients, and the cross-linking reagent, which is adipic acid dihydrazide. The syringes are connected and the contents mixed by reciprocations. The polymer is injected after which it gels in situ. Working time is one to two minutes. Click Here For More Information

Advantages of R-Gel

In many clinical situations injectability is an attractive feature. The lack of migration following injection is also an attribute. R-Gel is resorbed by the body without the production of acid. Click Here For More Information
